The Prospect Italian Bistro does not accept multiple booking of tables from one person. One table booking only allowed per customer. If you require more than one table then you must contact restaurant directly by phone or email.
If we are unable to make contact with the phone number/email provided to confirm the booking, then we will cancel the booking.
Can the restaurant cancel your reservation?
We reserve the right to cancel a booking, but this of course will be without any liability to you. We have, at any time for any reason without prior notification to you, the right to terminate or restrict, suspend or terminate your access to any or all of the system if we believe that you are misusing the system or if you are in breach of these User Terms. Management reserve the rights to refuse admission even if you have a booking.
How long is my reservation?
We operate a maximum of 2.5 hours seating policy. During our busy sessions ( weekends, bank holidays and special occasions such as Christmas, Mother’s day etc..) this may be reduced to 1 hour and 30 minutes at the manager’s discretion.
Are large groups required to pay a deposit in advance?
For group bookings (7 or more), we can request a deposit of £5 per person with a credit/debit card/cash at the time of booking. Please be aware that if you fail to cancel your booking or inform the restaurant of the reduced number of attendees 24 hours prior to the reservation, we reserve the right to charge £5 per person for each 'no show'.
Are online or telephone reservations limited?
No
Can customers visit our restaurants without making a reservation?
Yes, however, we can be extremely busy, especially at weekends, bank holidays or on special occasions (Easter, Christmas etc..) but we do our best to accommodate our customers on a first come, first served basis. To avoid being disappointed by the wait time we advise booking ahead, as we cannot guarantee a table at busy times. We encourage large groups, or those attending for special occasion to always book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Are you getting “dates crossed out” on the booking calendar ?
Please give the restaurant a call as we may still have space available.
Can you make a reservation by telephone?
Yes of course. However, our telephone lines are extremely busy and we cannot guarantee that you are able to get through immediately. Alternatively, please attend to our restaurant in person to make the reservation.
Can you make a reservation with Facebook?
Yes. However, our operator may not be able to accept every Facebook bookings or may not be able to reply in time for your booking. It would speed up the process if you leave a contact number and email address on your message.
How long is my table reserved for?
Your booking confirmation will secure your table reservation for up to 15 minutes from the reservation time. Thereafter, your reservation will be treated as null and void. We will, however, use our best endeavours to provide you with an alternative table as soon as we can. If some of your guests are running more than 15 min late, then please inform upon arrival so that alternative arrangement can be made to accommodate you as soon as your guests arrive.
How long is my table available for?
Your booking ensures that a table will be available to you for a maximum of 2.5 hours.
Can I bring my own food or drinks to the restaurant?
No food or beverages except those supplied by The Prospect Italian Bistro may be consumed within the premises. If you are having a party at The Prospect Italian Bistro and would like to bring your own cake please inform the us at the time of booking so that the manager can be informed and confirm this is acceptable.
Can I make a change to the number of guests attending?
If your numbers are increasing or decreasing, please give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can try to accommodate any changes. Please note that any substantial increase in guest numbers is subject to availability. We will do our best to confirm your booking by phone up to 48 hours prior to the booking.
I have an allergy, what should I do?
We have allergens information for every dish on our menu, you may also ask your server and we are always happy to help. However, ingredients used in the dishes can be manufactured in factories which handles other allergens. For this reason, and due to the nature of our business, allergen traces may be present in the dishes.
I am a vegan / vegetarian, do you offer dishes suitable for me?
We do offer a wide range of vegetarian dishes on our menu. The Prospect Italian Bistro is not a vegetarian restaurant and do not imply in any literature that we are.
Do you serve Halal meat?
We are not a halal restaurant and we do not hold a halal certification. You may check with our staff before choosing your dish.
What happens if I lose or have my property stolen in your restaurant?
The Prospect Italian Bistro cannot accept any responsibility for any items lost, damaged or stolen on our premises.
Do you have a cloakroom in your restaurant?
We do not have cloakrooms and cannot look after your valuables for you. We therefore ask our customers not to leave their valuables unattended whilst they are dining at our restaurant.
What happens if any of my property is damaged?
Customers are reminded not to leave their valuables on the table since The Prospect Italian Bistro do not accept any liability for any damage as result of spillages on electronic devices or other valuables. If you wish to charge your phone behind our reception, you are doing so at your own risk, we are not liable for damage caused by any electrical fault.
What happens to lost property?
We do our best to try to return items left on our premises to the rightful owner within 7 days. We cannot guarantee to keep items for longer than this. We will dispose of any remaining items in an environmentally friendly manner where possible. This includes donations to registered charities. Therefore if you have lost something in our restaurant, please get in contact with us as soon as possible.
